Sergio (early-career undergraduate researcher) was funded by the highly competitive CSIC JAE-Intro fellowship programme. His work was focused on the geomorphological characterization (geomorphometry) of volcanoes using LiDAR technology, in particular historical eruptions in the Canary Islands (Alfaya et al., 2025).
Sergio was main supervised by me with the assistance and co-mentorship of Dr. Thomas Boulesteix.
