Amaya is currently secondary education teacher nearby Nantes in France. She was a postdoc at the University of Liverpool were we worked together in the response to the 2016 Pedernales earthquake, co-supervised with Andreas Rietbrock (his main supervisor) while he was on sabbatical at GeoAzur.
